KERSHAW Olympic 8X30

When purchased it was very foggy inside. Common at binoculars coming from England? It was very difficult to disassemble and even more difficult to reassemble and collimate. And then, surprise! Very sharp and neutral colours. Built like a tank. It's better than Deltrintem/Jenoptem. The only downside is its stiff focus. I'm used to my Swarovski SLC 8X30 position of the focus wheel.

The second opinion: Frank WpgBinocular

  1. Simply amazing view for the time they were made ! Mine are Very Sharp and clear, suprisingly bright and wide, with a large precise excellent focus wheel..As with similar Ross Steptron 8x30 ,the build and optical quality is very high. Better than virtually any other classic 8x30 porros .

  3. Hi what a great blog this is and a very enviable collection.
Question. I'm looking for either a kershaw olympic 8x30 or a leitz binuxit 8x30 just can't decide, does anyone out there happen to know which of these two equally matched bins has the closest focusing? Thanks Nick
