STEINER Bayreuth 8X30

Plastic, but unfortunately, not fantastic. Poor optics and mechanics. This is not the best representative of Steiner's reputation.

Second opinion: Simon Spiers

  1. I learned a lot about birds life with a binocular like this. Today I have a more modern model of Steiner: the Skyhawk 10x42, a treasure.

  2. I realize this post is ancient in Internet years, but I'll comment anyway. :)

Did you get these Steiner binoculars new? I ask because the box looks so dated.

    1. I got it second-hand, but in very good condition (except the box).
